Over at The BBPS (Bits Bytes Pixels and Sprites) they had a chance to talk with the PR representative for Harmonix about some questions that have been floating around in gamers’ minds about Rock Band.
Probably the biggest shocker is that the instruments will not be sold separately until 2008. So if you were planning on getting one of the bundles, then grabbing another instrument as well, you will have to wait until early 2008 to multi task with your instruments. Of course there is the $170 pack that has the guitar, microphone, and drums in it, but fans’ may not be able to invest that much into a single game. Regardless, there will still be plenty of multiplayer if you visit a friends house, play online with someone, or bring your instruments to a LAN.
There is plenty more awesome questions that were answered so be sure to check out the full Q&A over at TheBBPS.com.
